Your Internet Sales Representative, Was to Say the Least, Phenomenal . . .
This was our first "out-of-state" purchase of an RV, and our first major purchase conducted over the Internet
Dear Mr. Skogebo,
My wife and I recently completed the purchase of our new Jayco 31 RLS Designer 5th wheel from World Wide RV. This was our first "out-of-state" purchase of an RV, and our first major purchase conducted over the Internet, so, needless to say, we were somewhat apprehensive.
Trisha Brown, your Internet sales representative, was to say the least, phenomenal. With her assistance, we were able to reach agreement on the price and options within 2 days, where my wife and I were unable to come to agreement with our local dealer after 2 weeks of negotiations. In addition, whenever we had questions or needed clarification on a particular item, each of our calls or emails were always returned promptly, and with the exact information we requested. Trisha was instrumental in expediting our order through Jayco, which was no small task due to the problems associated with new model year start up. She continually kept us up to date on the progress of the building our new unit, and as the final offline date began to firm up, worked closely with us on the delivery date. This was so important to us, as my wife had to reschedule vacation twice due to Jayco continually revising the offline date.
With the scheduling issues resolved, our new unit arrived at World Wide RV the same day we did, and Trisha was there to greet us. She was as pleasant to deal with in person as she was over the internet and phone. Even more important to us than price, is the integrity of the people we do business with. Trisha Brown kept every commitment and promise made to us. In addition, she was extremely helpful in providing information regarding one of our primary concerns, that of buying an RV in Arizona and registering it in California. All of her information proved reliable, and the registration process was a snap.
I know that World Wide RV has a program in place called "Caught Caring", in which employees are recognized for going the extra step in customer service. While it would have been easier to simply fill out one of those cards and mail it in, we felt the efforts put forth my Trisha Brown warranted a higher level of recognition. She was truly a joy to work with, and when it becomes time to purchase another RV, even though your facility is almost 800 miles away, we will gladly make the trip to World Wide RV.
I would like to mention two other individuals who went out of their way to make our experience a pleasurable one. We intentionally scheduled two extra days in Mesa in order to work out any bugs in the new unit. We scheduled those days at Mesa Regal, due to its proximity to your facility. During the first night, the air conditioner suffered a catastrophic failure and required replacement. We also discovered that the shower leaked badly. We notified Jim Ryan, your service and parts director, who immediately dispatched one of your service techs, Phil (I'm sorry, but I never got Phil's last name). While Phil was checking the AC, Jim personally came by to make sure we were ok, and to assist us in getting the unit back over to World Wide RV so the air conditioner could be replaced. The air conditioner change out went very quickly, and Phil was successful in stopping the shower from leaking. The remainder of our time in Mesa was spent in "cool" comfort. Our hats off to Jim and Phil, who were both truly concerned for our situation, and eager to ensure we were fully satisfied with the unit when we left your facility. We were indeed.
Sincerely,
Bob Silvano
